ArtCoz Artist Profiles G-I

Julie Goodall - Julie's Artery

Phone: 740.408.1237 Web: https://www.juliesartery.com Facebook: Julie's Artery

Julie's Artery was founded in 2000, as a way to bring the love of art to the local community, providing affordable art education and creative experiences.  Julie began teaching art out of her home and then moved her classes in 2007 to the historic Masonic Building in downtown Zanesville where lessons were taught from 2007-2020.  Events of 2020 marked the end of the Masonic studio and Julie’s ARTery moved to its current location at 53 S 7th Street in downtown Zanesville. Purchased by the Goodalls in 2016, the old Victorian house on 7th street was in need of much renovation.  Determined to create a home for the arts in the community, restoration began on what once was a condemned drug house to what is now a treasure on the block. Offering a variety of classes and workshops for all ages, it continues to be a hub for creativity and learning in the city.

Mark Goodall - Julie's Artery

Phone: 740.607.6233  Facebook: Mark Goodall

Mark is currently serving in his second year as the Vice President of ArtCoz.  Mark has helped his wife Julie operate Julie's Artery for over 20 years.  He restores old brass instruments and has led the renovation efforts at Julie's studio.  Mark has made bowls by melting old vinyl records, and always has some additional creative projects in mind.

Lynn Hartsock - Sissy's Jewelry Etc.

Phone: 740.624.0979

Sissy’s Jewelry Etc. was the “brainchild” of Linda Hartsock. She wanted to make Jewelry and she did… eight years ago she involved her mother, Lynn and her two daughters, Tianna and Chelsea. They began making their handmade jewelry from nature (gemstones, fossils, wood, glass, metal, and leather). Several years ago, they expanded their artistic abilities into making pillows and photography.
